How Mc+Mc helped evolve a beloved small business into a cohesive, growing brand.

 

Design Challenge

In 2025, Sunday Candle had been acquired by Lindsay and Steve, the same owners as one of Mc+Mc’s other clients, Lottie Lane. It was very important to Lindsay and Steve that the brand’s original feeling remained intact, since Sunday Candle had grown to build a very loyal customer base. While preserving the legacy Sunday Candle had built was of utmost importance, they were also excited to grow the brand by introducing new collections and scents and incorporating new marketing strategies to continue building the Sunday Candle story.

Solution

Mc+Mc served as a design resource for Lindsay and Steve, continued to reproduce the current Sunday Candle packaging, and worked closely with the couple to introduce new collections, such as the Summer Collection, featuring scents like Newport Coast and El Sol. In the Fall of 2025, Sunday Candle worked with Mc+Mc to launch the Fall Collection, which was an immediate hit. Scents included Chestnut Lane, Cedar Trail, Harvest Oak, and Cottage Grove. We look forward to continuing to grow the Sunday Candle brand and product offerings.
