Design Challenge
Schlumberger Scherer Construction (SSC) is one of the premier general contractors in the Aspen and Roaring Fork Valley. SSC came to McGrath + McKenna Design Group after years of struggle with what was their current website at the time. They requested a website redesign that spoke to the high quality work that SSC provided and wanted the site to be easily updated with new work. They also requested a marketing piece that they could hand out to potential clients to showcase their past properties and some of their history.
Solution
After seeing the exquisite work of SSC, McGrath + McKenna knew that the photography had to be the hero of each project. In both the marketing brochure and the website, Mc+Mc wanted the photos to be the focus, spanning from edge to edge with minimal copy and content. The typography was modern and the typesetting was structured. The large white margins allowed the photos to stand out. McGrath + McKenna wanted the viewer to sit with each property so that they could capture the beauty and essence of SSC’s work.
